Quality Aged Care

OVERVIEW

Prompted by new mandatory Government Standards, Australian Unity Independent Assisted Living Quality Standards teams, branch managers, and site leaders needed a consolidated vision of what it means to have Quality Aged Care to achieve commercial objectives to attract and retain customers.

Approach

I hand sketched a visual concept to represent the language of how “Quality Aged Care” was shifting from the focus of “compliance with standards” to “aiming for quality experience”. This illustration was used as supporting material for presentations to stakeholders about a mindset shift needed in the aged care sector.

RESULT

An abstract tree made of hands supporting people that represented its residents, carers, or other staffs. This was driven by customer-led insights into the design and delivery of services, assessing both outputs and outcomes.
